A perennial best buy from Washington State! This is comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc. Great notes of spicy blackberry, plum and smoke will enhance a grilled steak any day of the week, and twice on Sundays!

  • StoneCap Syrah 2009
    Producer: StoneCap

Deep and rich Washington state Syrah at a stupid price! Rich blueberry and graham notes, finishing spicy. I was impressed with this because it was such a great price for what you got, and it went well with my fried chicken!

  • Murphy Goode Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
    Producer: Murphy Goode

A wee bit young, but the more I try it, the better it is! A wine of great length, this has dynamic cherry and cassis flavors that don't quit. With a seamless finish of well integrated tannins, this could (and should) be twice the price!

  • Concha Y Toro Marques de Casa Concha Carmenere 2007
    Producer: Concha Y Toro

This is a dangerous wine! With a deep purple hue, long and slow legs, and aromas of cassis-blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate and tumeric, this leads to flavors of blackberry and chocolate that finish soft and smooth. It is dangerous because there are no hard edges and very seamless, which make it taste like juice. What a value! Yum!
